Licensing the IAOM Work
Free for academic, individual, and small-business use.
The Institute's research is published into the public scholarly commons. We humbly thank the collective intelligence of humanity for the technology and culture we cherish; what we publish is one more link in an unbroken chain of human ingenuity. IAOM's papers, articles, and educational materials are free to everyone, always, and are not licensed on this page. This page governs the underlying software — the Boundary language, Boundary IR, the HeytingLean stack, and LeanCP-extracted artifacts — which is owned and licensed by Apoth3osis Labs (Equation Capital LLC) under the Apoth3osis Commercial License Addendum v2.1. Most users owe no fee — academic researchers, students, individuals, and small businesses under USD $1,000,000 in lifetime gross revenue per Product. Equation Capital has granted IAOM a royalty-free license to use and write about the software for its charitable and educational purposes, and hosts IAOM's publications at no charge. Commercial & certified tier
Enterprise Commercial License (CECL)
For organizations whose use of Covered Software exceeds USD $1,000,000 in lifetime gross revenue per Product, or that need the Apoth3osis-Certified mark, the attestation bundle, or access to the proprietary proof layer. Signed written agreement with Equation Capital LLC. Custom royalty caps, fixed fees, partnership and equity arrangements available.

Strict exclusions
- AI/ML training, fine-tuning, RL, validation, or synthetic-data generation
- Any Blockchain System integration or deployment
- Removal or modification of provenance metadata
Material breach → liquidated damages of USD $1,000,000 per Product or model (§8.4).
